Roles are the perfect way to filter your communications to specific Outside Partners such as Buyers Agents, Sellers Agents, or even a Processor Role.
How to Create an Outside Partner Role
- Navigate to Settings >> CRM >> Outside Partners
- Click on '+Add Role' then, provide a Name for the Role
- Hit Add to save
How to Add a Role to an Outside Partner
There are two ways to add a Role to an Outside Partner
1) Via the Quickview
- Navigate to the Contact area and click on the Quickview icon to the left of the Name
- Scroll down under the Contact Information to the Team Members area
- Click on the Outside Partner and select "Set Role"
- Select the Role you wish to assign and click Save
2) Via the Contact Record
- Navigate to the Contact area
- Search and click on the name of the contact
- On the Contact Record, select the Green Edit button
- Scroll to the bottom of the Contact Edit screen to find and assign a Role to an Outside Partner
- Hit Update Contact to save the change
