Our Drip Campaigns feature allows you to tailor your campaigns to meet your exact needs. One of its most powerful capabilities is the ability to dynamically trigger campaigns and assign users if that User is not already assigned to the contact.
If a user triggers this campaign, they will be used regardless of whether they are assigned to the contact or not. If no user triggers this drip, the campaign will not run (example, if a tag was added by an integration rule or Encompass rule). If the triggering user is not checked, they will only be used if they are assigned to the contact; otherwise, the assigned contact user will be used.
To start navigate to Settings >> CRM >> Autoresponse Emails, then click on the Drip Campaign tab, create a new drip or edit an existing one. You will find the Resolve from invoker check-box option near the bottom of the filters.
If this option is CHECKED, the Send as (optional), Tracking Number, and Email signature (blocked in with red on the image above) will all be resolved from the user who triggered the Drip Campaign. The user who triggers this campaign will be used regardless of if they are assigned to the contact or not.
If there is no User that triggers the Drip, the Campaign will not trigger. An example would be if a Tag is added automatically via Encompass or 3rd party integration such as Zapier.
When this option is Not Checked, the triggering User will be used only if they are assigned to the contact, otherwise the Drip will attempt to resolve the User based on who is assigned to the contact.
